This Privacy Notice explains how Hyundai Capital UK Limited (“HCUK”) will collect, use and otherwise handle your “Personal Information” when you register and use The HUB, The HUB MI, Train.ME, eApply. “Personal Information” is information about you which can be used alone, or combined with other information, to identify you personally. In this Privacy Notice, references to “we”, “us” or “our” means HCUK and “you” and “your” are to users of The HUB at ‘access.hyundaicapitalhub.co.uk’ and/or The HUB MI at ‘hyundaicapitalhub.co.uk’ and/or Train.Me, our E-Learning platform at ‘hyundaicapitaltrain.me‘ and/or eApply at ‘eapply.kiafinance.co.uk’ (the “Website”).
2. Which personal data do we collect and use?
We may collect any of the following types of data:
- Identification information (e.g. name)
- Contact information (e.g. work email address)
- Dealer contact and business information (e.g. individual interests and third-party service providers)
- Data relating to your use of our e-learning platform (e.g. training modules, pass and fail rates, training history)
We do not collect or process any sensitive data.
3. Why do we use your data and what for?
We will only use your personal when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal in the following circumstances:
- Where we need to perform a contract, we are about to enter onto or have entered into with your or your employer.
- Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interest as listed below:
- To analyse test results and update our training modules;
- To establish aggregated statistics, for research and development, in order to monitor risk and the performance of our businesses, improve existing products and services or create new ones;

For the purposes above, we only share your personal data with the following individuals or entities:
- Your employer, account owner or administrator.
- Service providers who perform services on our behalf; Santander Consumer (UK) plc, Visarc Ltd, Kin + Carta UK Ltd & Okta Inc.
5. Transfers of personal data outside the EEA
We will not transfer your data to a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
6. Retention of your personal data
We will permanently delete test data greater than 7 years old on inactive user records and permanently delete inactive user records that have no test history remaining.

- To access: you can obtain information relating to the processing of your personal data and a copy of the personal data held;
- To rectify: where you consider that your personal data are inaccurate or incomplete, you can require that such personal data is updated;

- To object: you can object to the processing of your personal data, on grounds relating to your situation. You have the absolute right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes, which includes profiling related to such direct marketing;
- To withdraw your consent: where you have given your consent for the processing of your personal data, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time;
- To data portability: where legally applicable, you have the right to have the personal data you have provided to us be returned to you or, where technically possible, transferred to a third party. So that we can answer your requests as quickly as possible, please indicate the right(s) you wish to exercise. An acknowledgement of receipt will be provided.
We are required to answer all requests within one month, but we are allowed to extend this period by one further month depending on the complexity of the request. We will contact you in writing if we are unable to reply to your request within one month.
